Another Year
The Arab Spring began on December 18, 2010. This was a time of riots and protests against the cruel governments in the Arab countries located in the Middle East. The Arab countries include Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Yemen, Bahrain, Syria, and more. One of the most strongly affected countries was Syria.
Sadly, this month marks the third year that Syrian civilians have been fighting against Bashar Al-Assad. Bashar's forces have now killed up 146,000 civilians and at least a million people are displaced. People now are struggling more for their lives than actually change in the government. The cities there have been destroyed. Homes of thousands of innocent people gone. There are now 2 million refugees dispersed in the neighboring countries.

Children our ages there are loosing their parents, and more of them are dying. Every day we should be thankful and say "Alhamdulillah" that we have a roof over our heads and parent(s) that we get to see every day. We should make dua for all the people there and hope the blood shed will come to an end with a change in the government.
Be generous and make donations to help the refugees overcome their daily struggles.
